Surge Forklift Training also provides a scissor lift training course. This program, based on OHSA standards, assists in comprehending various types of scissor lifts, conducting pre-operation inspections, and operating and manoeuvring the machines.

A scissor lift represents a mechanical lifting platform utilized in construction and facility maintenance tasks to raise operators above ground level, facilitating vertical access. With a travel speed of up to 3 miles per hour and a zero-turn radius, it boasts high manoeuvrability suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. Its mobility renders it highly adaptable to diverse work environments.

Equipped with an extending platform, capable of adding up to 4 feet of length, it enhances horizontal reach and workspace capacity. Featuring a cross-linked scissor arm assembly, it reduces sway and enhances stability when operating at heights.

Our Scissor Lift Training course combines classroom theory, hands-on practical experience, and both written and practical assessments, all in adherence to OSHA guidelines. It aims to equip trainees with the necessary skills for real-world workplace scenarios. The course is designed to familiarize students with the various hazards associated with the job and teach preventive measures to minimize risks and enhance productivity.
